SUMMARY:2022 Home and Garden Tour
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Cottage Home Neighborhood Home and Garden Tour is scheduled for May 14th! View some of the neighborhood’s most beautiful homes and gardens.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGENERAL ADMISSION\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTime: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nPrice: Minimum donation of $15 presale or $20 the day of the tour (Children 12 and under are free) \n\n\n\nWhat’s Included: Visit 15 homes and gardens in the historic Cottage Home neighborhood. This year\, we will also feature two new additions to our tour. First\, visit the History Hub to learn more about the neighborhood and how it has changed over the last 100 years. Secondly\, you’ll be able to watch local artists paint our neighborhood in real time as they set up in some of the gardens throughout the tour. \n\n\n\nBeer\, wine\, soft drinks and light refreshments will be available for purchase in our neighborhood community space at 714 N. Highland Avenue. This is also where tickets can be purchased the day of the event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPOST EVENT HAPPY HOUR & ART SHOW\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us in our neighborhood community space after the tour has ended for an in-formal happy hour and art show. The paintings made during the event will be on display for purchase and we’ll have beer\, wine\, and food available for purchase. \n\n\n\nTime: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nPrice: No additional cost \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGET YOUR TICKETS ON EVENTBRITE.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVOLUNTEERS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDocents are needed at each of the houses on tour.  Each docent works a 3 hour shift and receives a ticket to the event. Tour goers are invited to view a variety of new and old homes\, selected to showcase the creativity and diverse decorating styles of our residents\, as well as explore gardens\, our community park and playground.
