KIB has a program called Adopt-A-Block to help facilitate keeping our streets maintained. More info and the sign up form on their website here: https://www.kibi.org/program/adopt-a-block/
If you sign up to be a block captain they will provide tools like grabbers and shovels to help pick up trash and clean curbs as well as some bags and gloves. In addition there are opportunities to get trees that are sent out to block captains later in the year.
If you’re interested in helping keep things clean between our bigger neighborhood cleanups and possibly helping us get some more trees to plant, please sign up!
If you are an active block captain and want to send your contact info to the Greenspace Committee Chair, we will try to coordinate where best to plant any trees we can get this year that you may not have a home for otherwise.
