What do you get when you cross a traveling troubadour with a seasoned, bucolic folk artist? Enter Whetherman, the moniker of 32 year-old independent singer-songwriter Nicholas Williams who has artfully bridged the gap between American-made sounds spanning folk, blues, country, soul, and bluegrass with a timeless tinge. In the last decade, Williams has produced eight full length albums, including the highly anticipated ‘This Land’ releasing June of 2017, earning his keep amongst international independent artists. His music aims at the heart center, with earnest and poetic lyrics that accompany infectiously melodic vocals, alongside effervescent percussive guitar and rolling harmonica, creating a rustic sound that is all his own. “Absolutely beautiful.
