The 2017 Virginia Avenue Folk Fest will be the third annual version of the largest single day music festival in the state of Indiana and one the largest in the country. 100 acts playing across 13 stages take over Virginia Avenue on May 13 throughout the neighborhoods of Fountain Square and Fletcher Place in Indianapolis. The festival is free and all ages. A portion of the proceeds from the event goes to Southeast Community Services in Fountain Square. There will be dozens of art vendors and organizations set up with booths in addition to the music.
